I am a seasoned therapist dedicated to helping adults heal from trauma.
Are you feeling chained to trauma?
Does it feel like you should just be able to move on, but can't?
Is your world feeling smaller because the rest of the world feels unsafe?
That's how trauma works, leaving us bereft of safety and assurance.
But it doesn't have to be this way......
As trauma is held in the body, it can be healed through the body too. Somatic approaches to trauma allow the body to feel it's way to healing.
Imagine your experiences becoming integrated....
Centered in safety, I bring warmth, humor, and kindness to my therapeutic relationships. We will talk about the hard stuff, but laugh and find joy too.
I use Mindfulness, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and wisdom to form the basis of my approach. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, with several post-graduate certifications including Certified Professional Coach (CPC). For you, this means I've got a depth of tools and experience to serve you.
Whether you're feeling trapped in trauma or anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, or just wanting a deeper understanding of your human experience - we'll figure out together how to create more meaning and peace in your life.
With telehealth sessions, I can help you from anywhere you live in Oregon or Florida.
I do not accept insurance, but can offer a Superbill if you have Out-of-Network benefits
If paying out of pocket, my hourly fee is $150 for hourly appointments and $175 for an initial assessment
What people tell me is I'm good at creating a safe space.
I think your agenda is the most important, and I will keep us on track too.
I won't take your trust lightly - your trust in me is paramount to a successful therapeutic relationship.
I affirm and celebrate all gender identities and sexual orientations
I encourage attunement to the body in sessions, and connecting sensory, mental, and emotional experiencing
No longer feeling emotionally overloaded in the face of a trigger or memory.
Shame no longer prevents reaching out.
Feeling a strong sense of self that won't wash away in the face of challenge.
When trauma becomes integrated, it's part of the tapestry of your being rather than defining who you are.
I work with adults who present with the following issues
Notice to clients and prospective clients:
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
For clients in Florida, you may find more information about this provider at: https://flhealthsource.gov/telehealth/,
